What is problem gambling?
Also known as pathological gambling (or ludomania), gambling addiction is considered a diagnosable and treatable disorder.  While problem gambling has its own set of criteria for diagnosis and treatment, many still don't seek help for this potentially life-destroying condition.

Keep gambling a social activity.
Never borrow money to play.
Don't chase your losses.
​Bet only what you can afford to lose.
Gamble with money set aside for entertainment.
Never gamble when depressed or under stress.
​Avoid mixing gambling with alcohol or other substances.
