The Quick Response Team may include first responders such as law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel along with clinicians and peer mentors with lived recovery experience.
Team members visit the home of someone who has recently experienced an overdose and offer support to both the individual and their family. The team follows up to encourage treatment and help navigate obstacles that may make accessing care difficult.
Individuals and families may receive emotional support, information, coaching, encouragement, and connections to resources.
